Meet Phil
Founder, President & CEO
Phillip Bullard has nearly 40 years of management experience for corporate, non-profit and entrepreneurial facilities. He has guided Maintenance Concepts Inc. since 1997.
During that time, the company has brought direct oversight to the engineering and maintenance staffs for all Hotel Equities properties, including the evaluation and on-going preventative care of its assets. In addition, Phil oversees renovations, negotiates vendor contracts and coordinates management needs for a variety of clients.
His experience began with positions with Otis Elevators and later Kmart where he trained as a manager and opened stores nationwide. He was a construction material purchasing agent for two major corporations before moving to Atlanta to direct warehouse operations for Kajima Process Mechanical Division. He later used his experience to work with the Atlanta Union Mission to set up a warehouse and store operations.
Phil served on Marriott’s Capital Asset Planning and Execution committee. He attended the University of South Carolina and has served the community via his church, Rotary Club, Citizen’s Police Academy and with a variety of non-profit organizations.
Devoted to his family, he enjoys golf, tennis and playing chess.
Meet Adam
Co-Owner/VP of Operations
Adam Bullard joined Maintenance Concepts in 2005 and has worked alongside his father since that time to grow and enhance the company’s services.
Prior to that, Adam spent 10 years in the hospitality industry completing a management program for Marriott Hotels. He received his NASCLA general contractors license in 2001.
Adam has called Atlanta home since 1988. He is a husband and father of two children, Jaxon and Taylor. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and tennis, reading, and is an avid music lover.
Of the industry he loves, Adam subscribes to a mantra first attributed to Lily Tomlin: “The road to success is always under construction.”
